The Assessor-Clerk-Recorder now offers drop-off services for customers that prefer to hand-deliver their documents and requests. Drop boxes are available between the hours of 10am and 2pm, Monday – Friday, outside the main entry of the following office locations:

What services can I use the drop box for?
You can use the drop box to submit requests that you would otherwise submit in-person or by mail, including:
Birth, Death, Marriage certificate applications (for Authorized copies, a completed sworn statement in addition to a notary acknowledgement is required)
Fictitious Business Name statements
Documents to be recorded
Official Record copy requests
Marriage licenses ready for recording
Assessor forms
How do I pay if I choose to use the drop box?
Check, cashier’s check, and money orders – no cash
How long will it take to process my request and how will I get my documents back?
You will usually get your document back in about a week. We usually process your document the next business day. Most orders we mail out the same day it’s completed. We hold recorded documents an additional couple of days to ensure proper preservation before returning the original to you.
It is recommended you include an envelope with paid postage for faster delivery.
